APC’s Ukachukwu Optimistic About Anambra Governorship Election Win

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Anambra State governorship election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has expressed confidence in winning the upcoming election scheduled for November 8. Ukachukwu made this statement during a meeting with APC stakeholders from the 21 local government areas and three senatorial districts in the state.

The meeting aimed to review the party’s performance in previous by-elections, addressing the challenges and disappointments faced. The stakeholders also discussed and approved the formation of local government, ward, and polling unit campaign councils. According to Ukachukwu, each polling unit will have a 30-man campaign council, while wards and local governments will have 25 members each.

Ukachukwu noted that the party has made significant progress, overcoming intimidation and manipulation tactics employed during previous elections. He attributed this success to the implementation of effective strategies, checks, and balances. The APC candidate emphasized the need for party leaders, elders, and members to work together to confront the challenges ahead and ensure the party’s victory in the state.

The Anambra State governorship election is expected to be highly competitive, with the APC seeking to unseat the incumbent All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)-led government. Ukachukwu’s optimism is based on the party’s efforts to strengthen its campaign structure and address past challenges. As the election approaches, the APC candidate is urging party members to intensify their efforts to ensure a successful outcome.

The meeting with stakeholders is part of the APC’s efforts to revamp its campaign strategy and build a strong support base across the state. With the election just weeks away, the party is focusing on mobilizing its members and reaching out to voters to secure a winning margin. The outcome of the election will be closely watched, as it is expected to have significant implications for the political landscape of Anambra State.
