APGA Mocks APC Candidate Over Debt Scandal

End APGA’s 19-year rule in Anambra - APC chieftain tells youths

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has criticized the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming Anambra election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, over his alleged debt issues. According to APGA, Ukachukwu’s recent public embarrassment at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja has raised concerns about his integrity.

National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, stated that this is the second time in recent months that Ukachukwu has been publicly disgraced by his creditors. A video has emerged showing Ukachukwu’s business partners confronting him over unpaid debts, which they claim he owes while campaigning to become the governor of Anambra State.

Obigwe noted that the incident at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, where Ukachukwu and his family were blocked by his business partners, suggests that their patience has worn thin. He also recalled a previous incident where a man protested naked in front of Ukachukwu’s residence, demanding payment and cursing the candidate.

The APGA spokesperson argued that the viral video of Ukachukwu being confronted by his business partners is sufficient reason for the electorate to reject him. He claimed that Ukachukwu’s only interest is to use Anambra’s resources to settle his debts, rather than serving the people.

The Anambra governorship election is scheduled to take place on November 8. The election has attracted several candidates, including Ukachukwu, who is vying for the top seat on the APC platform. The controversy surrounding Ukachukwu’s debt issues may impact his chances in the election, as voters consider his suitability for public office.

The incident has sparked debate about the importance of integrity and financial responsibility in political leadership. As the election approaches, voters will be watching closely to see how the candidates respond to allegations and controversies. The outcome of the election will depend on various factors, including the candidates’ credibility and their ability to convince voters of their vision for the state.
