The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Delta State, Nigeria, has introduced Oritsemami Obioru as its aspirant for the south senatorial district in the upcoming 2027 election. Obioru reaffirmed his intention to run for the seat during a solidarity visit to the party’s chairman, Austine Okolie, at the ADC secretariat in Asaba, the state capital.
Obioru’s visit aimed to demonstrate his commitment to the party and its leadership, as well as his ambition to represent the Delta South Senatorial District in the Senate. The ADC Warri South local government chairman, Excel Otonne Ololo, expressed his support for Obioru, describing him as a trusted and illustrious son of the soil. Ololo assured that he would back Obioru’s people-centered development policy, which aims to catalyze socioeconomic and infrastructural development in Delta South. Okolie, the Delta State ADC Chairman, commended Obioru for his commitment to the party’s growth, praising his grassroots engagement mechanism and alignment with the party’s vision of inclusiveness, accountability, and transformative leadership.
