The Rock WWE Return Not Happening Soon

The Rock, whose real name is Dwayne Johnson, is not expected to return to the WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames in November. This news comes amid ongoing rumors and speculation about his wrestling future. Johnson, a former WWE champion, has not been seen in a wrestling capacity since his appearance at Elimination Chamber earlier this year.

Recently, Johnson made headlines for his new, leaner physique, which he showcased at the Venice Film Festival. His weight loss sparked discussion among fans, with many wondering if it was a sign that he was preparing for a return to the wrestling ring. However, according to PWInsider, Johnson’s focus is on his Hollywood career, with a packed schedule of upcoming films, including a lead role in a Martin Scorsese-directed crime drama set in Hawaii.

Ringside News has confirmed that there is no internal discussion about Johnson appearing at Survivor Series: WarGames, putting to rest fan-driven rumors that had been circulating on social media. Johnson himself has spoken about his body transformation, revealing that he had gained 30 pounds for an upcoming film role and was now slimming down for a new project.

In an interview with SPORTbible, Johnson explained that his future role required a relatively lean physique, which is why he is trimming down. He stated, “I gained 30 pounds to play Mark Kerr and then came back down after that to my normal weight of around 250 or so. Now I’m in the process of slimming down, where I play a 70-something-year-old.”

While Johnson may not be part of WWE’s creative plans for the foreseeable future, there are reports that Saudi Arabia is pushing for him to wrestle at WrestleMania 43. It remains to be seen if Johnson will return to the wrestling ring, but for now, his focus is on his Hollywood career.
