Additionally, three former commissioners who served under Governors Adams Oshiomhole and Godwin Obaseki were elected into various positions. They include Victor Enoghoma, Deputy State Chairman; Monday Osaigbovo, Vice Chairman, Edo South; and Ogbeide Ifaluyu-Isibor, Organizing Secretary.

Other elected officials include Evangelist Adekunle Oboh, Vice Chairman, Edo Central; Bar. Richard Anetekhia, Vice Chairman, Edo North; Dan Osa-Ogbegie, Publicity Secretary; John Adodo, Financial Secretary; and Benedicta Attoh, Woman Leader. The party also elected Paul Itua as Legal Adviser, Liberty Ogboh as Treasurer, Austin Edosowan as Youth Leader, and Barr. Obas Stephen as Auditor.

In his acceptance speech, Aziegbemi described the election as a historic transition and consolidation of leadership, marking a new chapter in the party’s journey to strengthen democracy and reposition Edo for responsible governance. He expressed gratitude to the over 900 delegates who voted peacefully and orderly, stating that the success of the congress demonstrates the party’s readiness to reinvent itself and reclaim its place.

Aziegbemi emphasized that the new leadership would work tirelessly to deliver good governance to the people of Edo State, who are yearning for positive change. He pledged that the party would not take the endorsement for granted and would focus on driving its agenda as the true custodian of democratic values and the voice of the people. The congress was supervised by a panel from the PDP national headquarters, led by Mr. Tariga Tulagha, Chairman of the Electoral Committee.
