EPL: Premier League must punish Man City – Tebas

LaLiga president, Javier Tebas has called on the Premier League must impose punishments on Manchester City over alleged breaches of financial regulations.

If City are found guilty of breaking over 100 rules, they could receive a wide range of punishments.

The punishments could be a fine or points deduction to relegation.

Tebas has insisted the English champions deserve punishment for their alleged actions.

“It’s about the reputation and dignity of the Premier League.

“Your global reputation affects your ability to attract sponsorship and sell television rights,” Tebas told reporters at the Financial Times Business of Football Summit on Wednesday.
