The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2025 took place on October 23 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, with Bad Bunny emerging as the biggest winner, claiming 11 awards. The ceremony, hosted by Goyo and Javier Poza, was broadcast live on Telemundo and streamed on various platforms, including the Telemundo app, Peacock, and Telemundo Internacional.

This year’s awards featured 49 categories across different genres, including Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm, and regional Mexican. Bad Bunny’s 11 awards were followed by Karol G with six and Fuerza Regida with five. Other notable winners included Peso Pluma, Netón Vega, and Óscar Maydon, who each took home multiple awards.

The ceremony also saw special recognitions, with Laura Pausini receiving the Icon Award and Elvis Crespo being inducted into the Billboard Hall of Fame. Peso Pluma was awarded the inaugural Billboard Vanguard Award.

In terms of specific categories, Bad Bunny won Artist of the Year, while Neton Vega was named Artist of the Year, New. Shakira took home the award for Tour of the Year, and Benny Blanco was recognized as Crossover Artist of the Year. The song categories saw Karol G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” win Global 200 Latin Song of the Year, while Bad Bunny’s “DTMF” took home Hot Latin Song of the Year.

The album categories were also highly competitive, with Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” winning Top Latin Album of the Year. The Latin pop categories saw Shakira win Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Solo, and Mana take home Latin Pop Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards 2025 also recognized notable figures in the industry, with Rita Moreno presenting an award to Bad Bunny and sharing a moment of salsa dancing on stage. The event highlighted the diversity and richness of Latin music, with winners spanning various genres and styles.
