NYSC Extends 2025 Batch C Registration Deadline

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced an extension of the registration period for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Prospective Corps Members, PCMs, until November 11. This decision was made to accommodate PCMs who have been facing difficulties in completing their registration.

According to Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations, the extension is necessary to enable PCMs to conclude their registration. The initial deadline had to be pushed back due to challenges encountered by some prospective corps members during the ongoing registration process for mobilization.

Embu attributed the delays in registration to network issues, which have resulted in a longer-than-usual completion time for some PCMs. In a statement, she apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured that the management is working to resolve the technical issues and ensure a seamless registration experience for all PCMs.

The NYSC registration process is a critical step for young Nigerians who are required to participate in the national service program after completing their tertiary education. The program aims to promote national unity, discipline, and self-reliance among Nigerian youth.

The extension of the registration period is expected to provide relief to PCMs who have been struggling to complete their registration on time. With the new deadline set for November 11, prospective corps members are advised to take advantage of the extended period to finalize their registration.

The NYSC has urged PCMs to be patient and persistent in their efforts to complete the registration process. The organization is working to address the technical issues and ensure that all PCMs can register successfully. As the registration period comes to a close, PCMs are reminded to double-check their application details and submit their registration on or before the deadline to avoid any further delays.
