Regina Daniels rehab needed says Senator Nwoko

Senator Ned Nwoko has stated that his wife, Regina Daniels, must undergo rehabilitation to address substance abuse issues, citing concerns for her well-being and ability to care for their children. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, Nwoko expressed his desire for Daniels to receive proper treatment, highlighting a series of alarming toxicology results that indicate a need for intervention.

According to Nwoko, Daniels’ behavior has changed significantly, with her exhibiting violent and destructive tendencies amidst recurrent health crises. He emphasized the importance of creating a healthy environment for their two children, saying, “I want her alive and healthy, not just for me, but for our children.” Nwoko also shared that he has had to hospitalize Daniels on multiple occasions due to drug overdoses, which he believes necessitates rehabilitation.

Nwoko presented toxicology reports that showed high levels of various substances in Daniels’ system, which he claims are evidence of her substance abuse. He accused those advising Daniels against seeking medical help of being her “real enemies” and harming her children’s well-being. Nwoko’s claims have been met with denial from Daniels’ family, who have dismissed allegations of substance abuse as baseless.

The senator responded to criticism, stating that he had trusted Daniels’ siblings and friends to be a positive influence, but instead, they had exploited her resources to supply her with drugs. Nwoko expressed frustration, saying, “Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover from an addiction, only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends.”

The marital crisis between Nwoko and Daniels came to light when Daniels accused Nwoko of physically assaulting her, which he denied, attributing her behavior to substance abuse. The situation has sparked a public debate, with many calling for Daniels to seek help. Nwoko’s appeal for his wife to receive treatment has significant implications for their children’s welfare and highlights the need for support and resources to address substance abuse.
