PDP, A Party To Beat
The fight to destabilize and bring down PDP is irrelevant. However,
I want to appreciate the effort of Governor Bala Mohammed and Governor Seyi
Makinde in protecting and supporting the struggle to keep PDP strong.
The game the FCT Minister is playing is obvious. We all know it.
If he wants Nigerians to believe that he is fighting
a just cause in PDP, he is only deceiving himself and a few of his followers who are involved in the same game.
It is also not fair if the President wants Nigerians to believe
that he has no hand in what Wike is doing in PDP.
We can see a video where he raised his hands while laughing with Ribadu after watching
the crisis that erupted at the PDP office in Abuja.
This only shows that leaders are derailing—moving from democracy
to dictatorship.
This is a challenge to Nigerians, and we will not accept it.
Nigerians should join hands to protect our democracy.
It cannot be without a price, but we pray to God
to lessen the burden for us for the sake of our children.
I agree PDP is not the best of all, not even close.
But if the government continues to push further into destabilizing PDP,
turning Nigeria into a one-party system, we will have no choice but to protect our nascent democracy.
Dictatorship will not be tolerated in any way.
We will work against dictatorship of any form.
I am a member of APC. I only wish my party will do the needful
to protect our democracy, face the leadership challenges ahead,
and give us Nigerians hope.
