Johnnie Walker launches ultra exclusive Scotch Whisky collection

Johnnie Walker has unveiled a limited‑edition blended Scotch whisky collection to honor Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary. Created by Master Blender Dr. Emma Walker, the exclusive release comprises only ten bottles, each adorned with a unique design featuring Aso‑Oke fabric.

The collection is part of the Johnnie Walker Vault, a luxury platform launched earlier this year to celebrate the artistry of blending. Located beneath the Johnnie Walker Experience in Edinburgh, the Vault houses a curated selection of 500 rare and aged whiskies, personally chosen by Dr. Walker. For this special release she drew on precious ghost stocks from six distilleries—among them Brora, Glenury Royal and Port Dundas—that were part of Johnnie Walker’s inventory in 1960, the year Nigeria gained independence.
