The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in the local government elections held in Borno State, Nigeria, winning all chairmanship and councilorship positions in the 27 Local Government Areas. According to Dr. Tahir Shettima, Chairman of the Borno State Independent Electoral Commission (BOSEC), the elections were conducted peacefully across the state, in accordance with the Electoral Act 2022.
