FCT traditional rulers, community leaders vow support for Tinubu, commend Wike

Traditional leaders and community heads in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration. The appointment of an Abuja native as minister and to other key national roles has reportedly strengthened the sense of belonging among the people. During a visit by the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors to various communities, including Karshi, Karu, Garki, and Bwari, traditional rulers and leaders expressed satisfaction with the performance of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

The FCT Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Adamu Abdullahi, commended President Tinubu’s administration for its inclusive approach to governance. The appointment of an indigenous son of the FCT as minister, according to Abdullahi, reflects the president’s commitment to fairness, national integration, and confidence in the territory’s ability to contribute to national development.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors held meetings with various traditional rulers, including the Emir of Karshi, Alhaji Ismaila Danladi Muhammad, and the Sa’karuyi of Karu, Joseph Danfulani Narai. The community leaders praised the coordinator’s contributions to community development and reaffirmed their support for President Tinubu. The Sapeyi of Garki, Alhaji (Dr.) Usman Nga Kupi, pledged his community’s loyalty and electoral support for the APC-led government in the 2027 elections, citing the administration’s developmental strides in the FCT.

The traditional institution in Bwari, led by the Sarkin Bwari, Alhaji Awwal Musa Ijakoro, also assured their full support for President Tinubu’s re-election. The Esu of Bwari, Dr. Ibrahim Yaro, congratulated the Renewed Hope Ambassadors coordinator and pledged to mobilize tribal chiefs to ensure massive support for the president’s re-election.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors have been engaged in a grassroots mobilization drive across the FCT, interacting with traditional institutions and local communities to garner support for President Tinubu’s re-election. The ongoing efforts aim to galvanize support for the president’s administration, which has been praised for its inclusive approach to governance and developmental initiatives in the FCT. As the 2027 elections approach, the FCT’s traditional leaders and community heads are expected to play a significant role in shaping the political landscape.
