Juma Jux shares love story with Nigerian wife Priscilla Ojo

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has revealed the story of how he met his Nigerian wife, Priscilla Ojo, in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos. According to Jux, the couple’s meeting was a case of love-at-first-sight, which occurred in Rwanda. At the time, he was unaware of her celebrity status.

Jux stated that his initial attraction to Priscilla was based on her physical appearance, but after engaging in conversations, he discovered her excellent communication skills and other qualities that ultimately led him to decide to marry her. He recalled, “I met Priscilla in Rwanda. I didn’t know she was a celebrity. When I saw her, it was love-at-first-sight. I was like, ‘Wow! This girl is beautiful, I like her.’ And after we had conversations, I figured out that she is the one I would marry.”

The singer noted that he only discovered Priscilla’s celebrity status later, when he hosted her in Zanzibar and the visit was reported by blogs. Jux and Priscilla tied the knot earlier this year and have since welcomed a son, Rakeem, who was born in Canada on August 24, 2025.

Jux acknowledged that marrying Priscilla has had a positive impact on his career, particularly in terms of expanding his fanbase in Nigeria and West Africa. The union has likely introduced his music to a new audience, contributing to his growing popularity in the region. As Jux’s career continues to evolve, his marriage to Priscilla is expected to remain a subject of interest among his fans and the media.

The story of Jux and Priscilla’s meeting highlights the power of chance encounters and the role of social interactions in shaping our personal and professional lives. As the couple navigates their new life together, they will likely continue to attract attention from fans and media outlets across Africa and beyond. With their son’s birth, the family is embarking on a new chapter, and their journey is being closely followed by those interested in African entertainment and culture.
