Tanzanian singer Juma Jux recently recounted how he met his Nigerian wife, Priscilla Ojo, during an interview with Yanga FM Lagos. He described their encounter in Rwanda as love at first sight, noting that he was unaware of her celebrity status at the time. “When I saw her, it was love‑at‑first‑sight. I was like, ‘Wow! This girl is beautiful, I like her,’” Jux said. After talking with Priscilla, he was impressed by her communication skills and other qualities, which convinced him that she was the one he wanted to marry.
Jux only learned that Priscilla was a public figure later, when he hosted her in Zanzibar and the visit was reported by blogs. The couple married earlier this year and have since welcomed a son, Rakeem, who was born in Canada on August 24, 2025. Jux acknowledged that the marriage has positively impacted his career, expanding his fan base in Nigeria and West Africa and introducing his music to a broader audience.
