A Nigerian social media influencer known as Verydarkman has threatened to release allegedly incriminating evidence against two prominent pastors, Chris Okafor and Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin. The threat was made in a video posted on Instagram, where Verydarkman demanded the release of actress Doris Ogala, who was arrested on 20 December 2025.
Ogala had previously accused Pastor Chris Okafor of failing to fulfill a marriage promise and claimed she had helped him and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin cover up several criminal cases, including the disappearance of a child named Testimony. After making these allegations public on social media, she was detained.
Verydarkman said he had received evidence from Ogala before her arrest and warned that he would make the material public if she was not released by 23 December 2025. He alleged that the pastors had manipulated Ogala and used her to conceal their wrongdoing, and that many other women had similar stories. According to Verydarkman, he has already sent the evidence to multiple individuals and will release it if Ogala remains incarcerated.
The arrest of Doris Ogala has sparked concern about the conduct of some religious leaders in Nigeria and the potential exploitation of vulnerable individuals. Verydarkman’s threat to expose evidence against the pastors has added to the controversy surrounding the case. Nigerian authorities have not commented on the allegations or the demand for Ogala’s release. The incident is being closely watched, and its outcome could have significant implications for all parties involved, potentially prompting further investigations and consequences for those implicated.
