Adamawa gets 10 new permanent secretaries

The Adamawa State government has inaugurated ten new permanent secretaries, tasking them with upholding integrity and dedication in their duties. Governor Ahmadu Fintiri supervised the swearing-in ceremony, which took place on Tuesday. The state’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi, administered the oaths of office and allegiance to the newly appointed permanent secretaries.

According to Governor Fintiri, the appointees were chosen based on their merit and are expected to bring about effective governance and improved service delivery. The new permanent secretaries include Albert Ray, Purity Timothy, Hamidu Njidda, Hauwa Banu, Yusuf Peter, Abdul-Azeen Buba, Regina Njidda, Abdullahi Shuaibu, Soyi Daniel, and Paulina Yusuf. Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Albert Ray pledged their commitment to professionalism and strict adherence to their oaths of office.

The inauguration of the new permanent secretaries is part of the state government’s efforts to revamp its civil service and enhance its administrative capacity.
