Africa Cup Morocco tops Group A

Morocco has secured the top spot in Group A of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2025 after a convincing 3-0 victory over Zambia. The win, which came courtesy of goals from Ayoub El Kaabi and Brahim Diaz, sees Morocco finish the group stage with seven points.

The victory leaves South Africa second in the group with six points, while Zimbabwe finishes bottom with one point.

Meanwhile, Egypt topped their group despite a goalless draw with Angola. The result sees Egypt finish with five points, while Angola’s chances of progressing as one of the best third-placed teams hang in the balance.
