Fubara Approves 5 New Special Advisers In Rivers State

The Rivers State Government has announced the appointment of five new Special Advisers, as approved by Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The appointments were made public through a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Sirawoo, on Thursday.

According to the statement, the newly appointed Special Advisers will be sworn in on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 12:00 noon, with the nominees expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m.

The five individuals appointed as Special Advisers are Eloka Tasie-Amadi, Professor Peter Medee, Emmanuel Frank Fubara, Victor Ekaro, and Darlington Oji. Their appointment is part of the governor’s efforts to strengthen his administration and drive development in the state.
