NSCDC uncovers illegal oil dump in FCT

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has uncovered and sealed an illegal petroleum products dump in the Federal Capital Territory.

This was posted on the agency’s Facebook page and confirmed by the NSCDC Spokesperson, Olusola Odumosu on Sunday.

According to the post, the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad made the discovery and sealing of the illegal oil dump.

The post revealed that those uncovered include “over 54,000 liters of suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated Automotive Gas Oil, one pumping machine, one generator, two surface tanks containing suspected adulterated and illegally refined AGO, two empty surface tanks, four empty trucks, one truck containing suspected vandalised, illegally refined and adulterated AGO, two drums of AGO, two different waybills, two different vehicle plates, one pump action, one dane-gun and six cartridges recovered.”
