Nollywood actress reconciles with husband amid pastor scandal

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reportedly reconciled with her estranged husband, following a highly publicized scandal involving Lagos-based pastor Chris Okafor. A video circulating online shows Ogala kneeling to beg her husband, with the couple embracing and holding each other.

The reconciliation comes after Ogala had earlier claimed to have left her husband due to her involvement with Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation International, also known as Liberation City. Ogala had accused Okafor of dumping her after an eight-year intimate relationship to marry another woman. She had been vocal about the situation, repeatedly calling out Okafor on social media.

The controversy led to Ogala’s arrest by the Lagos State Police on defamation charges. During her detention, Okafor allegedly met with her and apologized. As part of their reported peace agreement, Ogala requested a house from Okafor, but later expressed dissatisfaction with the $10,000 she received, vowing to expose his alleged wrongdoing.

The scandal prompted Okafor to step down from the pulpit, handing over to other pastors in his church. The Lagos State Police recently invited Okafor for questioning in response to the numerous allegations against him.

The situation has sparked widespread attention, with many following the developments in the case. The video of Ogala’s reconciliation with her husband has been widely shared, with many speculating about the circumstances surrounding their reunion. As the story continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the situation will be resolved and what implications it may have for those involved. The Lagos State Police are expected to continue their investigation into the matter, and further developments are anticipated in the coming days.
