Federal Fire Service promotes 16 officers in Kebbi State

The Kebbi State Command of the Federal Fire Service has promoted 16 officers in recognition of their outstanding service. The promotion ceremony, which took place at the service’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, was overseen by the Zonal Commandant, Chief Fire Officer Muhammed Ibn Umar.

According to Assistant Comptroller of Fire Hassan Danashibi Jega, the promotions included 11 officers who were elevated from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Fire to the next level, and five officers who moved up from Assistant Superintendent of Fire II. Jega emphasized that the promotions were based on merit and urged the newly promoted officers to continue delivering exceptional service. He encouraged them to remain diligent in their duties and justify their new positions, stating, “You were promoted based on merit. Do not relent in your efforts to make this command proud.”

The Commandant also encouraged other officers to view the promotions as motivation to improve their performance, highlighting the importance of continuous excellence within the service. Additionally, Jega commended the Federal Fire Service headquarters for its ongoing support and expressed gratitude to the Kebbi State government for providing essential equipment and facilities.
