The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will conduct the quarter-final draws for its premier club competitions, the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, on Tuesday at the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) headquarters in Cairo.
The draw for the CAF Confederation Cup is scheduled for 13:00 Cairo time (11:00 GMT), with the CAF Champions League quarter-final draw to follow at 14:00 Cairo time (12:00 GMT). Both draws will be broadcast live globally on CAF’s official digital platform, CAF TV via its YouTube channel.
These draws will establish the matchups for the last eight in each tournament and outline the subsequent pathways to the finals. The outcomes will determine which clubs progress in the chase for continental titles and coveted spots in global competitions such as the FIFA Club World Cup.
For the CAF Champions League, the eight qualified teams are: Pyramids FC (Egypt), Renaissance Berkane (Morocco), Al Ahly (Egypt), FAR Rabat (Morocco), Al Hilal Omdurman (Sudan), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Stade Malien (Mali), and Esperance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia).
Meanwhile, the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finalists are: USM Alger (Algeria), Olympique de Safi (Morocco), Wydad (Morocco), Maniema Union (DR Congo), CR Belouizdad (Algeria), AC Otoho (Congo), Zamalek (Egypt), and Al Masry (Egypt).
