BBNaija S10 Winner Imisi Names Dogs After BBN Friends

BBNaija Winner Imisi Honours Reality Show Friends with Unique Tribute

Imisi, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has disclosed an unconventional tribute to the friendships formed during her time on the popular reality television series.

During a recent appearance on the Drink Or Spill podcast, Imisi revealed that she has named her three pet dogs after her closest friends from the BBNaija house. She explained that her dogs, Coco, Bella, and Bobs, are named after fellow housemates Kola Omotosho, Isabella, and Kaybobo, respectively.

This gesture highlights the lasting bonds that can emerge from the intensive, isolated environment of the reality show, which regularly garners a massive audience across Africa and the diaspora.

Also featured on the podcast, Kola Omotosho responded with humour to the news, joking that it was an “unconventional honour” to have a dog named after him, clarifying that his own name is not Coco. Omotosho, a fellow reality television personality, used the platform to also update fans on his personal life, stating he is currently single but open to a relationship with the right person.

The reveal offers a glimpse into the post-show lives of BBNaija alumni, illustrating how connections forged in the house extend beyond the competition. For Imisi, naming her pets serves as a personal and lasting nod to that chapter of her life. The conversation underscores the show’s continued role as a cultural touchstone, where the narratives and relationships of its participants remain a subject of public interest long after the finale.

The episode of Drink Or Spill featuring Imisi and Kola Omotosho is available on major podcast platforms.
