Tonto Dikeh Prays for Churchill at Son’s 10th Birthday

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh publicly extended prayers and goodwill to her ex-husband, businessman Olakunle Churchill, during their son King Andre’s 10th birthday celebration in Abuja. Video footage from the event, which circulated widely online, captured Dikeh offering blessings for Churchill’s prosperity, protection, and divine favour, declaring, “Your businesses will flourish; whoever curses you shall be cursed.” She also praised him as “an amazing father,” highlighting the strong bond between Churchill and their son.

The gesture marks a significant shift in the public relationship between Dikeh and Churchill, whose widely publicized separation in 2017 was followed by years of open disputes on social media. In recent months, both parties have indicated a reconciliation, with Dikeh stating they had “buried the hatchet.” This amicable co-parenting dynamic was on full display at the birthday party, where Dikeh also prayed for Churchill’s entire household, including his other children, asking for their collective progress and success.

Churchill has since remarried. In 2021, he formally introduced Rosy Meurer, his former personal assistant, as his wife. The couple have two children together, born in March 2021 and October 2022. Churchill has previously addressed and dismissed speculation about marital issues in 2023. Meurer has publicly expressed steadfast loyalty to her husband.

The birthday event underscores a notable détente between Dikeh and Churchill. After years of public conflict, their cooperative presence at their son’s milestone celebration, coupled with Dikeh’s public blessings, suggests a stabilized and respectful co-parenting relationship. This development allows their son to navigate his childhood without ongoing parental contention, setting a precedent for managing high-profile personal disputes privately. The focus now remains on maintaining this reconciled stance for the well-being of their child and blended families.
