Buhari leaves for check-up in London

President Muhammadu Buhari is slated to leave for London, United Kingdom on Monday for a routine check-up.

His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, confirmed this in a statement. 

There was no information if it was a planned travel as Buhari presided over an emergency National Security Council meeting in the early hours of Monday. 

He is attending the opening ceremony of the conference and retreat for senior police officers in Owerri, Imo State.

The terse statement said the President is expected back in the second week of November.
