Trump then made a direct prediction: “I predict… that [Paul] will be, in the not-too-distant future, running for political office. And you have my complete and total endorsement.”

Paul, who rose to fame on YouTube, has in recent years pivoted to a career in professional boxing and mixed martial arts. His public profile has been marred by legal controversies. In 2020, the FBI raided his California home as part of an investigation into a looted Arizona mall; Paul was never charged with a crime. In 2021, TikTok star Justine Paradise accused him of sexual assault, a claim he has denied.
