A senior official of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajia Amina Suzuki, has stated that the uninterrupted national convention in Abuja strengthens the ruling party’s campaign preparations for the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued Tuesday, Suzuki characterized the event as evidence of the party’s internal cohesion and institutional capacity.

The Abuja convention focused on consolidating the party’s leadership framework. Delegates voted to retain Nentawe Yilwatda as national chairman, maintaining the current administrative structure.
