Cardi B Threatens Jail for Thieves Who Stole Her Amex Card

Popular American rapper Cardi B has warned that individuals who allegedly used her stolen American Express card for a shopping spree will face legal consequences. The Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, revealed in an Instagram livestream that her credit card was stolen from her wallet several days ago.

According to Cardi B, the suspects used the stolen card to purchase designer clothing worth $40,000 at Saks Fifth Avenue and spent an additional $20,000 at an Apple Store before she managed to freeze the card. She stated that she has obtained clear photographs of the individuals involved in the alleged theft and unauthorized spending.

“I have clear pictures of you all at Saks and in the Apple store,” Cardi B said during the livestream. “One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all went to Chase trying to get money out. You all are going to jail.”

The rapper emphasized her serious stance on financial security, indicating that she has taken steps to identify and pursue those responsible for the alleged theft. Her comments suggest that she has already involved law enforcement authorities in the matter.

Credit card theft and unauthorized use remain significant concerns in the United States, with millions of Americans falling victim to such crimes annually. Major retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue and technology companies like Apple have security measures in place to detect suspicious transactions, though criminals sometimes manage to make substantial purchases before cards are reported stolen.

Cardi B, known for hits such as “Bodak Yellow” and “WAP,” has built a reputation not only for her music but also for her outspoken personality on social media. This incident highlights the vulnerability of even high-profile individuals to financial crimes and the importance of prompt action when unauthorized transactions are detected.

The case serves as a reminder for cardholders to monitor their accounts regularly and report any suspicious activity immediately to minimize potential losses.
