Speaking on the “Ada’s Room” podcast, the artist explained that non‑celebrity individuals typically enjoy predictable schedules that allow them to allocate dedicated time for their partners. In contrast, Blaqbonez said, the irregular and demanding nature of an entertainer’s life disrupts routine, making sustained commitment more challenging.
“I care about my partner, but not in a fairytale way,” Blaqbonez said. “I don’t think I can offer anyone a fairytale, and the idea of a fairytale is unrealistic. People often avoid confronting reality.” He added that his career’s constant interaction with a wide network of people further complicates the prospect of a singular, lasting relationship.
According to the rapper, an everyday person’s routine generally involves a straightforward pattern: work, return home, and spend time with a spouse or partner. This consistency, he noted, limits the number of individuals who can meaningfully disrupt the routine each year. By contrast, an artist’s schedule is regularly altered by performances, recordings, media appearances, and networking events, leading to frequent disruptions.
Blaqbonez also highlighted the difficulty of forming genuine connections within the entertainment industry. He claimed that many people who approach artists do so with opportunistic motives, deliberately positioning themselves to gain access or advantage. “It is really difficult to find a genuine relationship. Being an artiste, everybody you meet has engineered themselves to be there to meet you,” he said. “It is crazy because you’re supposed to just live and meet random people.”
