Arsenal Premier League 2025-2026

Mikel Arteta’s side sealed the trophy on Tuesday night after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth, confirming the Gunners as champions with a game to spare.

The North London club had come painfully close in recent seasons, finishing runners-up three consecutive times, but this campaign finally delivered the breakthrough Arsenal fans had long awaited since the famous “Invincibles” season of 2003/04 under Arsène Wenger.

Despite suffering a crucial 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in April that briefly threatened their title hopes, Arsenal responded strongly and maintained their consistency to stay ahead in the race.

The triumph also marks Arsenal’s first major trophy in six years and Arteta’s second major honour as manager.

Midfielder Declan Rice celebrated the achievement on Instagram, posting a photo with teammates alongside the caption: “I told you all.. it’s done.”

Former Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger, who guided the club to their last league title in 2004, also congratulated the team in a message shared by Arsenal on X:
“You did it. Champions go on when others stop. This is your time. Now, go on and enjoy every moment.”

Arsenal will officially lift the Premier League trophy after their final league game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Attention now shifts to Europe, where the Gunners will face PSG in the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest on May 30 as they chase a historic double.
