Ligue 1: Galtier speaks on tensions in PSG dressing room

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Christophe Galtier has insisted his squad is united, after they struggled to defeat 15th-placed Brest on Saturday.

Kylian Mbappe netted a late goal to secure all three points for the Ligue 1 champions.

PSG struggled for long periods in the game and although they created more chances than the home side, they never quite looked like a cohesive unit.

In the past weeks, reports of dressing room conflict have emerged, claiming that senior squad members were questioning Galtier’s decision making.

Despite those reports and what was an underwhelming win, Galtier asserted that the team is on the same page.

“Obviously there is this disappointment, but we have to get this championship title. There is unity, have no doubt about this unity.

“I am a coach who will fight with his team to get this 11th title,” he told Canal+ after the game.
