In acting categories, Brendan Fraser won Best Actor for his role in “The Whale,” while Ke Huy Quan earned Best Supporting Actor for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Michelle Yeoh received Best Actress for the same film, and Jamie Lee Curtis was awarded Best Supporting Actress, also for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Other notable nominees included Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Paul Mescal, Bill Nighy, Brendan Gleeson, Brian Tyree Henry, Judd Hirsch, Barry Keoghan, Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Andrea Riseborough, and Michelle Williams.

Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio” won Best Animated Feature Film, beating titles such as “Marcel the Shell With Shoes On,” “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” “The Sea Beast,” “Turning Red,” and “Domee Shi and Lindsey Collins.” The award for Best Cinematography went to James Friend for “All Quiet on the Western Front,” with other contenders including “Bardo,” “False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths,” “Elvis,” “Mandy Walker,” “Empire of Light,” “Tár,” and “Florian Hoffmeister.” Mary Zophres earned Best Costume Design for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” while the costume teams for “Elvis,” “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “Shirley Kurata,” “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris,” and “Jenny Beavan” were also nominated.

Directing honors went to Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert for “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” surpassing Martin McDonagh (“The Banshees of Inisherin”), Steven Spielberg (“The Fabelmans”), Todd Field (“Tár”), and Ruben Östlund (“Triangle of Sadness”). In documentary categories, “Navalny” won Best Documentary Feature Film, and “The Elephant Whisperers” secured Best Documentary Short Film. “Everything Everywhere All at Once” also took home Best Film Editing, with Mikkel E.G. Nielsen and Matt Villa among the nominees.

“All Quiet on the Western Front” was named Best International Feature Film, beating entries from Argentina, Belgium, Poland, and Ireland. The award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling went to the team behind “The Whale,” while other nominees included “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “The Batman,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Camille Friend and Joel Harlow,” and “Mark Coulier.” Volker Bertelmann won Best Original Score for “All Quiet on the Western Front,” and the original song category was won by “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR.” Other nominated songs came from “Tell It Like a Woman,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

Production design honors were awarded to “All Quiet on the Western Front,” with Christian M. Goldbeck and Ernestine Hipper recognized for their work. The Best Animated Short Film went to “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse,” while “An Irish Goodbye” won Best Live‑Action Short Film. In sound, “Top Gun: Maverick” received the award, beating “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “The Batman,” and “Elvis.” Visual effects accolades went to “Avatar: The Way of Water,” with “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “The Batman,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and “Top Gun: Maverick” also nominated.

Finally, the writing awards recognized “Women Talking” for Best Adapted Screenplay and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” for Best Original Screenplay. Other nominees in the adapted category included “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” “Living,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” while the original screenplay category featured “The Banshees of Inisherin,” “The Fabelmans,” “Tár,” and “Triangle of Sadness.”
