The Super Eagles of Nigeria have failed to secure a much-needed win against the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The Wild Dogs triumphed over Eagles in a 1-0 thriller on Friday.

The win against Nigeria means that the Eagles have lost their spot at the top of Group A to Guinea Bissau.

Before the game, Nigeria was toping the group with six points while Guinea Bissau had four points
