Bandits abduct Zamfara gov’s special adviser on political affairs

Bandits have abducted the Zamfara state Special Adviser to Governor Bello Mattawalle on political affairs, Ibrahim Ma,aji.

Ma,aji was abducted in his house in Mareri area in Gusau town, the state capital in the early hours of Saturday.

Source closed to the family of the abductee, Mohammed Ahmed said, the bandits were yet to reach out to them.

He said, “The bandits are yet to call any of the family members to demand for a ransom.

“We have been calling his phone number and it was ringing but nobody answers”.

Efforts to speech with the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Mohammed Shehu, failed as he could not be reached on phone.
