Don’t vouch for friends until INEC gives them job – Kanayo O Kanayo warns

In the wake of the just concluded 2023 general elections, Nollywood veteran actor Kanayo O Kanayo has warned his followers not to vouch for anyone.

Some Nigerians had expressed displeasure over the election process and outcome, alleging that it was rigged.

However, in a post accompanied by a video shared on his Instagram page on Monday, the actor said, ”Don’t vouch until INEC appoints them. How well do you know your friends, parents and church members?”

In response to his question in a clip, Kanayo said, ”Hello friends, do not say you know a guy well until he or she is given a job by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. Enjoy a great week ahead.”

Recall that Kanayo had earlier, in a viral video, claimed that INEC sold the presidential election to the highest bidder. ”INEC chairman and Commissioners have compromised. They sold shame to me in the marketplace. You deceived us.

“We must hold accountable the INEC Chair, Mahmood Yakubu, for promising to transmit results from the polling booth, so we need to ask him at what point he changed his mind and compromised.”
