NPFL: Nasarawa United boss Nikyu lavishes praise on players after draw at Enyimba

Nasarawa United head coach, Bala Nikyu hailed his players fighting spirit in the 1-1 draw against Enyimba in Aba on Wednesday.

The Solid Miners trailed at half-time after Chukwuemeka Obioma put the hosts ahead from the spot.

Emmanuel Ogbole, however, equalised 14 minutes from time to help Nasarawa United earn a share of the spoils.

“It was a good game, not because of the result, but because of the determination of my players – at least, everybody was determined to play,” Nikyu said after the game.

“I am happy to see that the boys are interested in getting something positive.”

Despite the hard-earned point, Nasarawa United remain in ninth position on the Group A table.
