Nigeria elections: Prophet Olujobi knocks Obasanjo, ‘fake preachers’

Prophet Bisi Olujobi has condemned the comments of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and some clerics regarding the 2023 election in Nigeria.

The General Overseer of Wisdom Church of Christ International in Ketu, Lagos, described Obasanjo as an “architect of confusion”.

In a statement on Saturday, he predicted that the former Head of State would soon meet his waterloo “spiritually and physically”.

The retired General supported the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi against the President-elect Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Olujobi said instead of being an elder statesman and stabiliser, Obasanjo has been playing “famous roles” that heat up the nation’s polity.

“The man is evil with negative agenda for the country, we are watching how he will end his journey,” the septuagenarian noted.

He cautioned ex-presidential adviser, Chukwuemeka Ezeife and Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour against divisive comments.

The statement further warned, “fake preachers who pose a threat to the peaceful transition of the incoming government”.

Olujobi advised Nigerians to shun “uncultured pulpit hijackers” trying to “plunge the nation into war with hate and fake gospel”.

“They are a tool of destruction…they will all run away if the nation starts boiling. Fake prophecies characterised the general elections,” he added.
