Kano Police commence digital skills training for personnel

The Nigeria Police Force NPF has embarked on a digital skills training program for its personnel.

Kano State Police Commissioner, CP Mamman Dauda disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen.

He said the training is in collaboration with an independent media company to enhance their proficiency in modern communication technologies.

The statement read, โ€ The digital skills training program is aimed at equipping police personnel with modern tools and techniques in digital communication, social media management, content creation, and data analysisโ€.

He explained that the program is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience that will enable them effectively communicate with the public, respond to emergencies, create, edit, fact-check and manage social media content for the police command.

โ€ It is believed that by enhancing the digital skills of our police personnel, we can provide better and more effective services to the good people of Kano State,โ€ the CP said.

He urged the participants to pay more attention to achieve the set objectives.
