Fuji superstar Wasiu Alabi Odetola, better known as Pasuma, is bereaved after losing his mother.

The artiste announced the passing of Alhaja Adijat kuburat (Iyawo Anobi) Thursday night.

55-year-old Pasuma informed the public in a terse statement on his Instagram account.

“MY JEWEL! I will miss you forever! Words fail me! Rest in power and peace, please watch over me from heaven,” he wrote.

The post generated more than 3,500 comments in an hour, as family, friends, colleagues and fans dropped condolence messages.

Born in Mushin in Lagos State, Pasuma aka Oganla of Fuji grew up in Kwara State and started writing songs in 1984.
