2023: Group lauds Tinubu over plans to grant loans for Nigerian students

The Convener of The Asiwaju Group, TAG, Mustapha Abdullahi, has disclosed that the Action Plans of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, are centred on the development of Nigerian youths.

Mr Abdullahi made the disclosure on Friday during a National Town Hall meeting with Mr Tinubu convened by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi who is also the National Youth Coordinator in the APC Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, in Abuja.

During the meeting attended by the TAG executives, Mr Abdullahi lauded Mr Tinubu’s promises, particularly the school loans/grants to vulnerable students.

According to a statement signed by the TAG national coordinator,  Abdulrazak Danjuma, the TAG converner noted that Yahaya Bello had proved his capacity as a master mobiliser by turning the meeting into a mini rally as a result of the mammoth crowd gathered in the hall.

Furthermore, TAG Convener assured Mr Tinubu of the support of the Nigerian youths.

Earlier in his speech, Mr Tinubu expressed deep appreciation for the rousing welcome he received, assuring his committment to deliver the dividends of democracy to the Nigerian youths.

The event had in attendance several VVIPs including DG Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, Governor Simon Lalong; the Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare; and National Director of Youth Mobilization of the PCC Governor Yahaya Bello.

Others are the Deputy Director-General (Admin) APC-PCC Hadiza Bala Usman; Deputy DG (Operations) Adams Oshiomhole; Director, New Media and Special Media Projects in the APC-PCC, Chief Femi Fani-kayode and other dignitaries.
