Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has taken to social media to eulogise herself and express appreciation to God as she celebrates her 45th birthday today, 24th August 2022.

Media Talk Africa reports that the mother of two, who doubles as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State shared various adorable photos on her Instagram page.

In one of the photos, Funke while rocking a beautiful suit and beaming with joy, described herself as ‘Her Excellency’

The actress turned politician wished herself a happy birthday and prayed that God would never forsake her.

She wrote: “OLUWASEUN!”
“Happy birthday to you OLUFUNKE AKINDELE!!!”
“The Lord will never forsake you in Jesus name!! AMEN!!”

Monarch Speaks On Portable Chieftaincy Title

Meanwhile, the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu land, in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, has disclosed the reason for honouring Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, with a chieftaincy title.

Recall that the singer announced on Monday that he will now be known and addressed as “Chief Amuludun of Tigbo, Aworiland.”

Since the conferment of the chieftaincy title, some persons have criticised the action of the monarch.

Reacting to the backlash, the monarch explained that he decided to confer Portable with a chieftaincy title because he is respectful.

The monarch insisted that people’s account of the Zazuu crooner differed from what he saw when he met the singer.
