APC chieftains started negative narratives about Tinubu, blame them – Shehu Sani

A former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, says the elites and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, should be held responsible for all the negative things being said about the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.

Sani said they were first dug out and toxically spread by the party’s chieftains and elites who attempted to stop Tinubu from winning the primaries.

His statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

Sani, a social critic, claimed the opposition was copying from the APC.

He wrote, “Any negative things said about the President-elect was first happily dug out and toxically spread by the elites & chieftains of his party, in their attempts to stop him from winning the primaries. Whatever the opposition are saying today came from the tongue of the ruling party.”
