National Association of Self-Employed Nigerians (NASEN), Imo State Chapter, Pledges Support for the Re-Election of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
The National Executive Secretary of the association, Hon. Henry U. Orji, stated this during a courtesy visit to his home in Abuja by the leaders of the Imo State chapter of the association.
He stated that Governor Uzodimma has shown capacity in all ramifications for a better Imo, adding that the people will vote him into the office for another term, even as he expressed delight over the robust relationship between the governor and Senator Osita Izunaso.
In his words, “We believe that if the Governor is given a second tenure in office, Imolites will have cause to appreciate God.
“We also want to appreciate the cooperation seen between His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, and Senator Osita Izunaso. This kind of cooperation can only promote and project a better Imo State.
“Senator Osita Izunaso has been a very reliable team player of the Governor in Imo State and the South East at large. These two leaders have contributed to the success of APC in the South East. Hence, you cannot talk about the success of APC in the South East without mentioning these two names.”
In a chat with Media Talk Africa News, Hon. Henry seized the opportunity to encourage the 10th National Assembly to consider Senator Osita Izunaso for Senate President.
According to him, zoning the position of Senate President to South East is a way of reassuring the zone of undoubted peace and unity the South East is yearning for.
“The need to carry all tribes along cannot be overemphasized. It will reduce tension and also encourage people to genuinely support the incoming government at various levels,” he added.
