AMVCA: Toyin Abraham jubilates as Ijakumo bags 3 nominations

Famous Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham continues to soar high as Ijakumo bags three nominations at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA.

Ijakumo was nominated in the Best Cinematography category, Best Picture Editor and Best Sound Editor.

This comes two years after she was ignored by the AMVCA despite being crowned the highest-grossing actress in 2021 after producing her movie, ‘The Ghost and The Tout’ which did so well at the box office.

Sharing the news in a post on her Instagram page on Sunday, she expressed gratitude to God as she noted how hard work always pays off in the end.

She wrote: “This is the first time my movie will be nominated for the AMVCA award, and we got three nominations. I just want to say that whatever you do, just keep working hard. It will surely pay off.”

Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is an annual accolade presented by Multichoice recognizing outstanding achievements in television and film.
