Gov. Buni mourns as ex-finance minister, Ngama loses mother in Yobe

Former Nigerian Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Yerima Lawan Ngama has lost his mother, Hajiya Ariram Ngama.

Late Hajia Ariram died last Sunday in Kano after a brief illness at the age of 83.

The Yobe State Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana ton Wednesday, led a government delegation to Gashu’a town to condole the former minister over the irreparable loss.

Gubana prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

Mama Ariram Ngama is survived by 10 children and many grandchildren. Among her children is Dr. Yerima Lawan Ngama, the former state minister of finance during Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.

The delegation also paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Bade, Abubakar Umar Suleiman over the death of the Tafidan Bade and District head of Jakusko Alh Mohammad Gumel Saleh Suleiman, who died recently.

In all the places visited the delegation through Gov. Buni’s Senior Special Assistant on Religious Affairs Mal. Ibrahim Adam prayed Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and admit them into Aljannatul Firdausi.
