Eid el-Fitr: Live holy life even after Ramadan – Gov Adeleke to Muslims

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has admonished the Muslim faithful to continue to live a holy life and live by the lessons of the month of Ramadan.

Governor Adeleke gave this admonition during prayers to mark the end of the month-long Ramadan fasting on Friday at the Eid prayer ground, Oke-Baale, Osogbo.

According to him: “The holy month of Ramadan is so sacred that it must be treated so even after the period.

“Always pray for this administration to achieve all its campaign promises to the people. We will continue to give residents of Osun the much-desired dividends of democracy which they voted for.”

The governor had earlier in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, said to the Muslim faithful: “I also urge you to, in line with the teachings of the Qur’an and Holy Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], live in tolerance with our neighbours, both Muslims and non-Muslims.”
