Pictorial: Transport minister, others pay Buhari Sallah homage

Lawan, Osinbajo, Sambo and Buhari on Sallah day

The Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Sambo, alongside other government officials, on Friday paid a Sallah homage visit to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to a statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations of the ministry, Henshaw Ogubike, the visit, which was in line with the Islamic tradition of celebrating the Eid-el-Fitr festival, also saw the minister felicitate Buhari, over the successful Ramadan fasting, leading up to the Sallah celebrations.

The statement reads, “While wishing the President more of such celebrations in good health and peace of mind in future, he lauded him on his legacy projects which has permanently changed the socio-economic landscape of the country.

“In attendance were the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and Senate President Ahmed Lawan.”
