Transfer: Napoli to replace Osimhen with striker who snubbed Nigeria

Napoli will turn to Roma’s Tammy Abraham this summer, as they prepare for the exit of Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen, who is valued at £150million, has been heavily linked with a move away from Italy and Manchester United are eager to bolster their attacking options.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are considering signing Abraham if Osimhen departs.

Other options include Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta and Union SG’s Victor Boniface.

Osimhen has scored 26 goals in 31 games for Napoli across all competitions so far this season and could have been lining up with Abraham at international level.

But the former Chelsea striker opted to represent England, although he has since fallen out of favour.
