Lobi Stars head coach Mohammed Babaganaru hailed his team’s performance despite their defeat to Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.
The Pride of Benue lost 1-0 to their hosts in the matchday 15 encounter at the Akure Sports Complex.
Babaganaru said the performance of the players is an improvement from their last outing in Yenegoa.
“We worked with the players after our game against Bayelsa United last week,” he said in a post match interview
“They responded well to every details we told them in training and am satisfied with that.”
Lobi Stars remain top of the group table with three matches left to the end of the season.
